At Hunter Industries, 2021 was a year of reflection.
From the pandemic to supply chain interruptions, we experienced challenges big and small. Despite the uncertainty, we doubled down on our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments and achieved some successes.
We look back proudly at both our 40-year history of industry leadership and our decade-long commitment to transparency through CSR reporting. In our 10th-annual report, we reflect on our wins and challenges while sharing our vision to achieve future CSR goals, from product sustainability and community development to diversity, equity, inclusion, and greenhouse gas reduction.
In the report, you will also find:
- A word from our CEO, Greg Hunter
- Stories from our Family of Companies that showcase how our products support customer initiatives
- Key achievements from the past year
- Updated progress on CSR goals
As we look ahead, we will continue striving to grow our company conscientiously, supporting our communities, and doing our part to protect our planet for future generations.
Achieving our CSR goals is not the work of one department or team –it takes all of us working together.
Thank you for supporting our CSR journey.
Senninger Helping Others (SHO)
We are focused on the health and well-being of the local community

Angel Tree
Senninger employees donated gifts and cash for the Salvation Army joining with others to help nearly 1000 families in need across Lake and Sumter counties. This local Angel Tree program allowed 2169 children to unwrap toys and clothing on Christmas morning. Additionally, 148 senior citizens were blessed with gifts and basic needs. Plus, families received grocery gift cards to help with their holiday food needs.

Earth Day
On April 22, in honor of Earth Day, Senninger employees had the opportunity to plant a tree or flower and bring it home to grow in their own yard. We set up a potting station providing all the necessary components – starter pots made of peat moss, soil, and seeds.
Many employees participated in a webinar to learn how to start their own garden at home. The webinar featured several employees, including Desmond Taylor from Senninger, sharing information on the success they’ve had with their home gardens and plenty of great tips to help you get started. Additionally, Hunter donated to plant a tree with Eden Reforestation Projects for everyone who attends our workshop.

Florida FFA Foundation
Senninger provides support to the Florida FFA Foundation to support American agriculture by investing in the next generations. Donations help students participate in career and leadership at their leadership conference and annual convention. FFA enriches the lives of over 7000 youth enrolled in agricultural education in Florida.

Christmas Raffle
Senninger employees participated in a raffle at the annual Christmas party and raised $1500 to support various SHO (Senninger Helping Others) events. SHO looks for opportunities for employees to support our local community and those in need worldwide.

Holidays With Heroes
Senninger provided financial assistance for the local Holidays with Heroes event in December. This was a great opportunity for Clermont Police Officers and Clermont Firefighters to meet with families in our community providing gifts to children who might not have received them otherwise. In addition to sharing special moments with these children, the heroes also built relationships with their parents. The event brought joy, community cohesiveness, and positive interaction with law enforcement.

Lake Cares Food Pantry
Senninger made a donation to Lake Cares to help provide food to struggling individuals and families living in Lake County. This includes weekend food over the holiday break for children who rely on school breakfasts and lunches. Lake Care hosts holiday food drives, fundraising events, and special holiday food distributions. By the end of 2021, they distributed over a million pounds of food serving over 55,000 individuals and 14,500 families. They have a main pantry location and seven satellite locations throughout the county.
