For over 58 years, Senninger has earned a reputation worldwide for its products designed to operate at low pressures, reducing the amount of energy required to apply water to crops. By developing energy-efficient products we want to help farmers lower their electricity costs; but we also know that energy conservation is critical to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility commitments include a series of actions for on-site energy conservation at our Clermont facility to help minimize GHG emissions. This allowed us, for example, to reduce the monthly energy usage by 10%, despite a 4% increase in energy cost (kWh) over 2018. Between 2018 and 2019, our family of Hunter companies reduced their electricity consumption by 5% in San Marcos, Tijuana, and Clermont combined.

We believe that as socially responsible companies, “reducing energy use and minimizing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is the right decision for our business.

“Ensuring maximum energy efficiency helps mitigate future cost increases. Our customers are also looking for environmentally friendly products that save energy. We want to be responsive to market demands related to this important issue. Worldwide scientific observations show that climate change is happening. We want to ensure we are part of the solution by reducing our GHG emissions.” (2019 Hunter Corporate Social Responsibility Report)
