Xi-Wob®

Xi-Wob Models 610 (blue), 615 (black)
& 910 (grey)

Ultra Low Application Intensity Preserves Soil Integrity

The Senninger Xi-Wob uses a patented counter-balance technology which eliminates the need for flexible hose commonly used with this type of sprinkler. It is designed for use on rigid polyethylene or steel drops. The Xi-Wob provides ultra low application intensity by delivering water over a larger area in a uniform pattern. This lowers the impact of the sprinkler pattern on the soil structure, preserving the soil’s ability to absorb water.

The preservation of intake rate, increases soak time greatly reducing the potential for soil compaction, soil sealing and irrigation water run-off. The Xi-Wob is available with three different deflectors based on the desired droplet size needed. The unique design of the Xi-Wob provides relatively uniform-sized droplets that are adequate in size to resist wind distortion.

Features:

• Models:
- 615 – 6-groove 15-degree trajectory (black deflector); larger sized droplets
- 610 – 6-groove 10-degree trajectory (blue deflector); medium sized droplets
- 910 – 9-groove 10 degree trajectory (grey deflector); smaller sized droplets

• Flows: 1.12 - 14.4 gpm (254 -3271 L/hr)
Low pressure operation saves money and energy: 10 - 15 psi (0.69 - 1.03 bar)
• Backed by 2-year warranty on materials, workmanship and performance

Senninger’s NEW Xi-Wob 605-TOP literally turns the popular Xi-Wob® upside down. It is ideal for reducing over-watering by allowing wide spacing (up to 20 feet) and providing a wind-resistant pattern with extremely uniform coverage.

“I use the Senninger Xi-Wobs with pressure regulators on both of my pivots. I put the first ones on in 2007 and had no problems with any of them. But in the spring of 2008 Senninger sent a man out and changed them all out with new ones. I grow alfalfa and wheat on real tough soil. It is Bentonite which is a natural clay used to seal well casing and hazardous waste storage sites. Unlike other clays, it is has an extreme fineness, and has a highly absorbent nature and curious property of swelling with water. You got to be careful how you apply your irrigation water or you’ll get some serious surface sealing. The Xi-Wob with both the blue and grey deflector seems to do the trick. I am just beginning my third season with them and I do not anticipate any problems. I really like them.”
