Position #1: Mechanical Engineer/Designer (1st shift)

Department: R&D Engineering

Qualifications:

• Team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Must possess strong mechanical skills
and aptitude for innovation.
• BSME or equivalent preferred, but 5+ years
direct design experience acceptable
• Experience with thermoplastic ejection
molded part design preferred
• CNC programming and operation capabilities a plus
• Requires proficiency in 3-D modeling software
(Pro-E), as well as MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Excellent time management skills
• Reliable
• Hands-on & results oriented

Responsibilities:

R&D Engineering is seeking an Engineer to
develop new product ideas from the initial
concept though to production item
• Take charge of projects from inception to production
• Manage all facets of the new product
development process:

• Criteria development & approval
• Team building
• Timelines & Schedules
• Conduct design reviews
• Prototyping
• Testing (in-house & field)
• Prototype tooling
• Part approvals
• Production Handoff

• Must be able to manage and coordinate
the activities of each project team discipline:
Tooling Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Quality Engineering, and Vendors to achieve project goals
• May perform other tasks as required or
assigned by the Director of R&D.
